FAQs
What does Adagio mean? TOP
The word adagio is a tempo marking in music meaning slowly or in a leisurely manner. Do you make all your own products? TOP
Yes we do. All our products are handmade with pride in small batches using the finest ingredients possible. Are your products all natural? TOP
Yes, many of our products are all natural. Our all natural soaps, lip balms and bath teas are formulated with natural ingredients, scented with essential oils and contain no preservatives. Are your products tested on animals? TOP
No way. All of our products are tested by family and friends first. If they like it, we make more to sell. Can I get free samples? TOP
We would love to send samples out to everyone who asks, but we are not able to do so. When available, we will include some free samples in orders to show our appreciation to our customers. Do you use lye in your soap? TOP
Yes, we do use lye in our soaps. All bar soaps are made with lye, but there is no lye in the finished product. The purpose of the lye converts oils (we use natural plant oils) to soap. Our soaps are formulated very carefully so there is no lye left in the bar, only soap. Commercially available detergent bars are not typically made using lye, but are laden with chemicals and other synthetic materials. How long will a bar of soap last? TOP
Our bar soaps will last about as long as a regular bar of soap if stored in a well-draining soap dish. Keep the soap out of the way of leaking shower heads too. Why do some soaps have goat’s milk in them? TOP
Goat’s milk is a natural humectant and is good for your skin. How do you color the soap? TOP
We use only natural colorants, namely iron oxides and ultramarines. |
